 Monthly Parent Meeting

  • Thursday, August 29th from 6-7pm in the Chapel
  • This is a monthly meeting for Pastor Cameron to communicate with Parents about the Student Ministry
  • This is also a time for Parents to share their struggles and seek advice on how we can best disciple our Students
  • We'll discuss Youth events, teaching topics, resources on Christian Parenting, as well as other issues 
 
 

 Fellowship Friday!

  • Friday, August 30th from 7-10pm @ the Winslow's (message them or Pastor Cameron for directions)
  • Girls bring a 2 liter, Guys bring a snack or dessert to share
  • This is our monthly get together to eat, play games, have fun, and fellowship.
  • If you're interested in hosting future Fellowship Fridays, let Pastor Cameron know!

  • Friday, September 6th & 20th in the back of the parking-lot by the stadium from 5-7pm before the game
  • We will be grilling burgers/hotdogs and we'll have yard games to hang out before the football game at 7pm
  • If you would like to help grill or donate any food items let Pastor Cameron know!

  • Wednesday, September 11th, 5:30-8 ish 
  • We will meet @ FBC and head to an Unknown Destination. Details May or may not be shared.
 
 
 
      

 ⇒ Youth Ministry Volunteer Training 

  • Saturday, September 21st @ Christ Church Camden, 9-11:30am
  • This training event is open to all of our Adult Youth Leaders for free! 
  • This event is a way to say thank you and to better equip you to reach our students with the Gospel!
  • Mark your calendar and let Pastor Cameron know if you're able to attend, we've got 10 spots available
 
 
      

 ⇒ See You at the Pole 2019

  • Wednesday, September 25th, 7am @ your school's flag pole
  • SYATP is a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God.

 Pastor Cameron Speaking @ The Rock

  • Tuesday, October 1st, 6:30-8pm @ WECC the Lighthouse Radio Station
  • The Rock Youth Ministry is a gathering place for youth (12-18) to have fun & fellowship, hear great speakers, and get free food too!
  • "The Rock" is the youth ministry held every Tuesday in the Rock building on the campus of The Lighthouse 89.3 Christian radio station.
  • Students at FBCSM are always encouraged to go to the Rock on any Tuesday even if Pastor Cameron isn’t speaking!

  • Friday, October 11th-15th during the Columbus Day holiday weekend we will have a Youth Fall Retreat

Words from the Leadership

  • The life of a Student is filled with transitions as you slowly move into adulthood. Eventually you head off to college, full time careers, military or new adventures. It is our prayer that wherever God leads you that you go equipped to spread the Gospel, but I see an even bigger calling. Not only for you to go equipped, but also willing. I want to encourage each Student from FBC St. Marys to go be in the world and not of the world. Jesus says in John 15:19 "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you." So with life and its many worldly pressures against you, remember to show others the love, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness that Christ has shown us. I love each and every one of you and I know with your willingness, God will use you for incredible things in His name.

  • Mr. Cameron Reed (Student Pastor): Hey Guys! Thanks for stopping and taking a look at our Youth Page! It is my pleasure to serve, love, and teach as the Youth Pastor at FBC. I was called on staff in July of 2017 and I am excited to get to know you and to connect you to the gospel through the many different events we have throughout the week! I graduated from Charleston Southern University in May of 2016 and Married my wife Brett (Girls Sunday School teacher) in July of the same year.
